Wi-Fi Solutions |
|
|
Hi,
I wanted to get a Wi-Fi soluton to allow me to connect with laptop upto 3 miles from Access Point, still I have not yet purchased Access Point, but I know it will need an external antenna but that's as far as I got.
One more thing I also need it to be as cheap as possible. I was looking at the Linksys routers/AP.
If anybody have any advice?, its urgent |

Why do you need wi-fi solutions, for your laptop?
could you tell me are you wanting to roam around or talking about setting up a large stationary antenna off of the laptop? |

Which is the latest Wi-Fi Adapters. I think that it is 11Mbps 802.11b Wireless Adapter. The Wireless G operates on 2.4GHz and runs at 54Mbps compare to double then 802.11 VPN router. Actually we can’t get these speeds. It runs on 20-25 Mbps comparatively 802.11 runs on 4-5Mbps currently.
Tell me which adapter uses such type of technology? |

| The Linksys wireless digital media adapter and D-Link DI-624 AirPlus Xtreme G uses 802.b technology and they performs quiet good on that. |
