Hello,

I am currently looking to switch to a new ISP.
My current ISP is Verizon DSL.
We pay around $14.00 a month for it, and I am starting to get really unsatisfied with them. All together with all the problems I've had throughout their service I've probably spent 15 hours in total with tech support. It's getting ridiculous. Having to call tech support and speak to someone who does not know what they're doing, and me probably knowing more than them about the problem and subject, is completely, utterly aggravating. My ping in online multiplayer games is extremely unacceptable, as well in the Ventrilo VOIP client, which is just plain awful. When suggesting something remember, Gaming Lag is my main enemy.

My question is to mainly the moderators, and professionals out their who have had more experience with different ISP's.

So, I would like some advice on the best ISP out there for home use. I am willing to pay up to $40.00 a month. Here are my Internet needs below:

I need an ISP that:

-Has great, awesome performance with Gaming. I am playing Online Multiplayer games a lot, and need an ISP that can promise low pings and low latency.

-Can support 2 wireless Internet given desktop PC's with out interrupting my connection/ping while gaming.

-Can offer very fast download speeds

-Great bandwidth

-At least 1.5 Mbps, if higher that would be great.

I would GREATLY appreciate the help and advice.

Thanks,

William[/u]

EDIT:

I forgot to mention where i live. My current residence is in Santa Maria, California, area code 805, ZIP 93455; if this information is needed to help me out.

Thanks again

Hello

Now this will be a biased opinion seeing as I own the company... So I'm speaking as a customer also..

You are more than welcome to try our DSL out as we have not contracts...We also usually provide a dlink modem & belkin wireless router (extra cost) to all of our customers. This way you are not getting the generic cheapo ones the big boys push...

We have several customers who use our DSL for gaming and other services and have no complaints.. Keep in mind this is without knowing your phoneline condition, distance from switch house etc....

Again no contracts here so if you want to give us a try shoot me an email at info@digitalendemic.com with your phone # and address and I'll see if we can offer it to that location.
