What is pdvdserv.exe process??

Hello All,

I hope this forum will help to fix pdvdserv.exe. I am very frustrating of getting pdvdserv.exe. What is the pdvdserv mean? Is pdvdserv.exe virus or spyware? How to remove pdvdserv.exe from my computer? I don’t know why I am seeing this pdvdserv.exe at the top in System Process. If you have any idea about this pdvdserv.exe then let me know.

I think you have problem in your system regarding to your power DVD. This process pdvdserv.exe is belonging to power DVD. So it may be possible that you have problem in your power DVD player. It may be also possible that this power DVD system file may be corrupted so is check for that.

This exes process name is PowerDVD Rc Sercive. It is background manager for Power DVD 6.0.

PDVDServ.exe is a process belonging to PowerDVD which allows a user to plug in a remote control. Don’t end this process from your task manager if you want to safely running PowerDVD Service in your computer.
