Wireless Randomly losing connection--Lynksys WRT45GC |

"This connection has limited or no connectivity. You might not be able to access the Internet or some network resources...."
I have had my wireless network set up for some time. My family can connect their laptops without any problems. However when I turn mine on, I have a 50/50 chance of being able to connect. Also, I may get a connection and after a while it will lose it and take hours to randomly decide to connect again. I disable the connection and enable it over and over. Repairing the connection doesn't work either. I read through the other posts and I cleared my IE cookies and temp files. That didn't work.
I've tried to set up the network again--but it won't recognize the new connection (it is shaded out).
The IP address is always 192.168.1.1.
I did go to the TCP/IP Properties and made sure that "optain an IP address automatically" is selected.
I'm just at my witts end. Why does it work sometimes and then suddenly stop working? |
