Hi,
We've heard from quite a few customers who have complained about not having NNTP server access from their ISP.
Newsgroups aren't in demand by most users. Since an NNTP server can be costly and labor-intensive to maintain, many ISPs are discontinuing them.
Since we're constantly working to be the best resource for ISP customers out there, we decided to pick up where some ISPs left off and offer complete text-based NNTP access to our valued visitors!
You'll have access to a real NNTP server, complete with spam filtering and posting privileges. We are not offering binaries and we do monitor users and will block heavy usage (it is a free service, after all!), but otherwise you are welcome to peruse our approximately 150,000 newsgroups as you please. Try it out and let us know what you think! |
