Cable and Satelite

Hi All,

I have been pondering the idea of becoming either a satellite or cable installer for some time now and was wondering how I can accomplish this. I'm assuming I must be an independent contractor which means I must own my own business correct?

How does one get the work? Do I contact the cable/satellite companies direct?
Do any of you know of someone I can get in contact within 25 miles of the 32714 area code? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
