Hi, there
Right now I am using BT open world, i have BT HH ISDN system, i used to play Counter Strike online and i get pings from 55-100 and annoying rates of "loss" and "choke" which makes it hard to play.

Then Once I tried AOL 7 120 free and had a nice 800 - 3000 ping, so I think and wondering how best Aol is good for gaming.

Lower pings represent faster connection speeds. Usually cable, t1, dsl connections are adequate enough for playing counter-strike. Dial-up connections should be avoided if you want smooth gameplay. The speed also depends on the components that make up your pc. A good video card will make the images less choppy and run more smoothly and a faster microprocessor will speed things up a bit.
