ping/latency problem for playing world of warcraft |
|
|
hi I have been having some ping/latency problems playing world of warcraft and I was just wondering if someone can give me a bit of advice. Usually my ping is around 90-200 ms, but now its averaging around 10,000-15,000. This means when I do an action or just talk in game it take about a minute for it to occur. I went on worldofwarcraft tech support and sent them an email and a tracert to see what they would say, and all they said was to contact my Isp. below is the tracer part of the tracert they sent back to me saying that I had *'s because of packet loss, but I'm not sure what that is. So if anyone can give me any information on what i should do I would be so thankful. Another thing is that my brother has the same computer and we connect off the same internet ,but until now I'm the only one having a problem. If you want u can also email me at pbilanych@yahoo.com with any information you can tell me. Do u think that buying another graphics card will solve this problem, because that's what my friend told me, but I dont think its my graphics I think it's just something wrong with my internet.
