Hi
I'm searching for a company that will let me use a softphone with their service. Some I have come accross have an extra charge for using softphones - why?

Some companies may charge extra payment for softphone,
but i suggest you to go for http://www.itelfone.com/ for Long Distance call.
You don't have internet service and need to keep landline for home security, you can do it without Broadband
