Hi All,

I just recently attempted to convert my existing Outlook Express 2003 to receive the new Gmail with no success.
My system is in a seasonal home, so this is my first time accessing WildBlue since the conversion.

I at first downloaded and executed the online Outlook Express conversion tool with moderate success. I was able to send but not receive. I then downloaded the instructions to manually convert all of the settings, and changed accordingly. This time when clicking on send/ receive all mail, Outlook goes through all of the steps, on authorizing, connecting and receiving mail, and the error message comes up Crying or Very sad

Anybody out there figure out the solution?

Thanks

Hey Prince,

Don't lose hope!!!

I am with WildBlue. In your note, you mentioned your email client software is Outlook Express 2003. The first step would be to determine if you have Outlook, or Outlook Express. Microsoft's naming conventions for Outlook, the naming convention was by year: 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007. For Outlook Express their naming was by version number: 4.0, 5.0, 6.0.

After determining which email software version you have, then refer to our WildBlue Knowledge Base for more detailed information with some screen shots.

For Outlook: http://help.wildblue.net/kb/article/1744
For Outlook Express: http://help.wildblue.net/kb/article/1746

I hope this helps Smile
Bye
