Your modem stops working means its not transferring data, and because of this all lights go out, so first reboot pc, if still problem is there then its tcp/ip problem, but i dont think so that modem goes wrong because cable modem is a simple equipment compare to PC, so may be problem is with your PC

MAC Address error is the error that occurred while your ISP is not up-to-date with latest technologies. You have latest technology modem & your ISP server not added recent configuration of your modem on server. So server doesn’t recognize your modem & disconnected you.
Tell your ISP to recognize your modem... |

Please use winipconfig to release or renew your IP Address. Delete your settings under the control panel & uninstall the NIC Card Driver. Then Remove DHCP Server key from Windows registry. Then try to connect with your modem.
I think it must be solved your ISP connection Problem.
bye. |

I use ATT@home Internet connection on my Windows XP home PC. Since last 5 days I frequently disconnects. My modem is working properly. The Support people on my ISP tell me that you lose your connection. But I used same modem on another machine it works fine.
I don’t understand what is the problem with my computer?
Can you solve this???? |

I having some problem regarding to my new 3COM Office Connect Cable modem. It runs more than 70 % time at 2-3 MBPS and suddenly it gone to only 45KB/sec. When I set my old modem in place of that it always gets 2.8 MBPS speed whole day.
What is the problem with my new modem? Give suggestions for that…. |

I receive my cable modem and now I connect with internet. Max uploading speed is 14 KBPS and always connects at 58 KBPS. After fixing my problems, the average speed is 40 KBPS.
Thanks for me smiling. |

I’m having problem with Motorola SB4100 modem on my Comcast connection. I’m very eager to know that when I am trying to connect via USB port, it locks my computer. I’m trying to connect after killing the msgsrv.exe service.
What I do now? |

Let, I give you a advice that when I switched over a NIC Card. The PC locking up problem is settled, but my modem periodically reboots itself. When it I unplugged it & then re-plugged it my download speed dropped from 1000 to 200 bps. I don’t have power fluctuation problem.
Please suggest me what to do. |
