Is Mooza.com Better than Itunes.com?

Today I was reading Apple's [url=http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2008/06/19itunes.html][b]Itunes.com Website Press Releases[/b][/url] and they claim to have sold 5 billion songs online.

Okay, lets say I believe that is true (which I find very hard to do...) I seriously don't understand it. I mean is the Ipod that damn popular?

People can just as easily go to [url=http://mooza.net][b]Mooza.com - Free MP3 Search Engine[/b][/url] and download all your favorite mp3 music for free. So what is the incentive to pay for music?

I simply have no idea in the world why somebody would pay $1.99 for a song they can get just as easily for free?

Am I missing something? Perhaps somebody here can explain this...?

I am a apple lover and support all appple products and services. I actually read that somewhere as well that itunes sold or delievered about 5 b songs, but I dont think thats right, they've only been around for about close to a year and ipods also were just about 2 years old now, so i think its just an over exageration, but still the highest compared to the others.
