Download/upload speeds slow during the day |
|
|
HI
In the morning and night, speeds are fine and range between 700-900/324, but it seems that whenever I run a speed test during, my speeds are 100/100s. I ordered 1.5mbp, but because of "distance" problems (I qualified on the DSL Extreme website), my internet was set to safe mode yesterday and everything was fine, but now it's the day after and nothing has changed. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
I have been told countless times to either get my line checked by covad or downgrade my service, and I know both would be futile. |

Slow speeds on a line are usually indicate a problem on the line between the modem and phone companies central office. It could be due to the distance or quality of your line from the phone companies central office to your location or problems on the line either inside or outside your location. The best way to determine what the issue is would be to have a phone company technician dispatched out to your location to test the line. If you send me your DSL Extreme account information I would be happy to review your account and open a ticket with our support team to account you and further trouble shoot.
Regards,
