Free or not, what I have yet to find is a French ISP. By which I mean only web access, not URLs with all sorts of bells & whistles -- all of which naturally are in French.
Not speaking French, the website programs are so much gibberish; plus the techs only speak French -- and usually that incurs considerable phone expense per minute, waiting/music/disconnects, etc. There are NO tollfree numbers at any of them. All incomings from the site are also French only.
Several URLs include FREE EMAILS, sometimes web & pop, others just one or the other. But note, free does not include the phone call connections (as is the case with the URLs with paid service).
About the only improvement in France is that now you can get unlimited usage. Until two years ago, you paid for blocks of hours, usually 50 up-and-down. question
Anyone with info on just ISPs please advise. |
