| Have you checked with your ISP and made sure there arent any problems in your area? Have them come out and check your upstream and make sure you hav a strong enough signal. Also theres a chance that your signal is too strong, since most ISPs cap the signal stregnth also. |

I want to know about Internet connection sharing. I got a cable connection in my office and my home. But both the systems are different. I easily share my Internet connection at home with my office computer by using the cable modem and Linksys router. There are several questions that occurred at his time:
- Is the VPN Connection is needed for to access with Internet?
- Am I needed a new Router to connect with VPN connection?
- Can I use my current Linksys Router?
- Is the connection is possible without Router? Explain It.
- Is any third party software needed for to connect with this? |

how it possible , you cant get me?
ok
512000bps and 128000bps which are the speed caps.
now my point was ,this is lower than 512Kbs and 128Kbs since 1K = 1024bits.
512000Kbs/1024 = 500Kb/s (62.5KB/s as opposed to 64KB/s)
128000Kbs/1024 = 125Kb/s (15.625KB/s as opposed to 16KB/s ) |

you are wrong, they are right
the problem is you have miss calculated,
its not the wrong speed.
and divide 512 by 8 (8 bits in a byte) and you get 64...
your just getting your technologies confused, and bad math

| I run my cable into my TV & then I run RJ 45 Coaxial Cable to my Ethernet card. I don’t think you need a modem. The Ethernet card shows me error that I couldn’t run it in England, I ask my friend that It is successfully works now. Can I call at Cable ISP? |

To get Solution, the Coaxial cable directly goes into your set top box and then RJ 45 coaxial cable that is used for your computer. |

Hi,
A cable modem will provide you with rapid download transmission speeds. Downloading a file that would take one-half hour using a telephone modem connection will take only a few minutes with a cable modem connection.
Hope this will help you. |

I dont have any landline connection. Is there any need of phone line when using a cable modem to access the Internet? Any suggestion! |
