Believe it when I say that Dial In Free (http://www.dialinfree.net) is the real deal. I was a little skeptical at first, wondering what strings were attached. The only real “string” is that if you need technical support, there is a five dollar charge. However, the setup is so simple that unless you really don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll never encounter a charge. All you need to do is get your local number, create a dialer, and boom, free internet. The only drawback is, Dial in Free is only available in the 231, 616, and 269 area codes.
There are many prominent ISPs in market, call their broadband service as “Wireless Broadband” while they provide wired broadband service over your phone line and they just give you a wireless router so that you can set up wireless network inside your home.

I don’t think they should call it ‘Wireless Broadband”

I'm using Clearwire and have had no problems with internet access. However. something happened that is blocking me from updating my Anti-Spyware software or accessing related sites on the internet. Everything else runs fine, I'm not blocked in any other way.

I've run SuperAntiSpyware and a couple of others and found a few things what were removed, but it seems to me that some of the my settings got changed. The firewall is off right now and I don't have any other software that would block it.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

I just purchased a Dell laptop that I have been wanting for years. The only problem is for now I can only access the internet at public wi-fi spots. I do not have a land line phone or internet service at home however I do have a free AOL account (for email) I've had for years. I know in order to access internet at home I have a few choices: sign up for DSL; get a wireless router to try to pick up on signals but still will not have access to info to connect or get a wireless ISP card. The latter is probably how I will have to go but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg. Verizon Wireless seems to have the best monthly rates but I am concerned about the credit check and deposit. Is there anywhere I can get a reasonably priced ISP card and monthly service?

Please email me at gatlfan1963@aol.com

Thanks!
Hi

There are not that many companies still

Wireless inernet Services:
1.) Boingo Wireless
2.) Fon WiFi

Satellite Internet Serives:
1.) Hughes Satellite Internet
2.) Wildblue

Although it is a lot faster than dial up, satellite internet is not as fast compared to DSL and cable. Although most people won't notice much difference during typical usage, when downloading a large file people will often be able to see it takes longer.

Satellite internet tends to be more expensive than dialup, cable or DSL. The monthly fees are on average just a little more than DSL and cable, but the difference is there can be a large installation and equipment charge to start. While this may be well worth it if Satellite is the only high speed option available, it may not be price competitive with the best cable or DSL offers if those are an option.

                                      Hi,

I am thinking of jumping on the bandwagon of satellite internet, but have no clue, what satellite ISPs there are available, because most google search I did not turn any good results. Eitheir the ISPs I found provided the setups for new land ISP`s to setup, or satellite ISP`s with expensive subscriptions.

I am looking mostly for a 2way satellite Internet, not ISP`s which you have also to have a dialup connection for the upload, and the downlaod will happen via sat, bot upload and download I would like to be done via satellite. 10x.

Regards,
