                                      pfft. i admin the network for freedialup.org.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
those people are using the same LUCENT APXs the rest are.&lt;br /&gt;
that same APX is one out of two RAS that are prob still supported&lt;br /&gt;
now days. they even have v.92 cards. i have not used it though. &lt;br /&gt;
i moved downtown and get sdsl for free now days. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
anyway, here is how you sign up. create any username or password&lt;br /&gt;
out of your mind. anything will auth.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
make sure it is a local number. dont be a retard. dial verizon and ask.&lt;br /&gt;
use the phonebook &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
click connect. that is it. your speed will depend on your fricking phone line.&lt;br /&gt;

                                      You are right Siboi, for other free ISP, Usually they dont offer good services and also speed problems are always be there, &lt;br /&gt;
but since i have used NetZero its not bad</description>

                                      From my understanding free isp's provide horrible connection speeds and service.  Hence why they are free.  Around here Netzero is popular but that doesn't mean its good.</description>

                                      I just came across Freedialup.org. It offers free dialup in few cities and from allt he information I read on their website, there do not seem to be any hourly limitations for the dialup. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I plan to check it out. Anyone knows if there is any catch or any significant problems with this dialup service?</description>
