Make sure your computer is virus free......Another common problem with routers is they can only handle so much information...Now there are alot of virus and adware programs out there that will open ports that you dont even know are open and are either collecting info or a number of things and will overload your routers mem...Your router cant keep track of all the packest in witch case it drops one computer off it to make up ............. Always make sure you are virus free and try to give rid of as much addware as you can.... most of it runs in background and you may not even know it is there......

Ok if set up right you can really get alot out of your setups, But knowing both ends of the setup will help you out.....When you lose one comp and not the other is it the router?? Is it the comp?? OR is it your cable providers system? I will help any one out as much as i can but every issue will be case by case....Im sure its not your router and if it is Im sure you can either fix it with internal ip cnfg or with snmp.......

When I am concerned with this ebay dropping out problem, it may occurred with your router that disconnects you. Disconnecting the router is very frustrating for me. Now I am going to move for new router within few days. I think that the router is more problematic for me to getting such problems. I ‘m very disturbed because it occurs with only with the ebay, not with other sites.

When using Norton anti virus, it blocks the ports that is configured by it. The only way to solve this problem - uninstall Norton from your computer. There are also some major issues that also connected with this.

I think that what is the ebay Problem.
Do you think that the duration of your visit to ebay or may be resetting of your visit to ebay to get the connection back to you i.e. some features that are just unable to use ebay.I hope my thinking is in correct way that could solve your problem.
