Hello. I've been receiving e-mails from a Hotmail account to my Outlook Express account. Is there a way to easily tell if they're actually generated from my own computer? IE: supposedly from OUTSIDE the household, but actually from INSIDE the household...on the same PC? Strange one...I know.
Most of all isps give SMTP and POP3 access to their users. Because without POP and SMTP address you cant configure outlook express as your email client. And if any isp not give POP and SMTP address then they will loss a lot of their customer.

Help me please.
Thanks.

Answer) Because pop/smtp are the server setting, you need to ask this with that particular ISP.
For Example: you have a email address with domain as earthlink
Address: xyz@earthlink.net
For this the server settings are
pop: pop.earthlink.net
smtp: smtp.earthlink.net/smtpauth.earthlink.net

This is one of the example, contact that particular Domain, you will get the server settings
Unsolicited email is any email message received where the recipient did not specifically ask to receive it. For eg, it is like receiving "unsolicited" email from a long-lost friend or relative is certainly not abuse.
hi Justin,

Tod is right about mail bomber. But these two terms are different. The defination of mail bomber is already defined by Tod.
Now, email harassment are the kind of single message or series of messages sent via email that meet the legal definition of harassment.

                                      Hey justin,

I got the idea about mail bomb. But not about email harassment.
Mail bomb is delivery of enough email to a mailbox to overload the mailbox or perhaps even the system that the mailbox is hosted on.

I think if you wish to raise your quota beyond that allowed by web based email manager, send an email to support of your site with your domain name and new quota request. Your quota will be raised if your plan size/amount of space already taken up by existing domain allows

                                      hi jason,

With our E-Mail forwarding service you can have ALL of the e-mail sent to your registered domain deposited into a single mailbox or to individual mailboxes. This means that you can have e-mail sent to sales@your_domain.com, info@your_domain.com and postmaster@your_domain.com all will delivered to you or to any internet email address you specify.

Email redirecting is similiar to forwardign and aliasing.
