I am also familiar with the 550access software and I must say it is pretty good. The toolbar is a very good tool. I also like their high-speed internet accelerator they have. The website even shows users how to install and download the software making life alot easier.

i use the google toolbar. its pretty cool, lets me do all kinds of searches for music, pictures, mp3s, movies. all sorts of things.

Thats the main reason why i like it, i can do all the searches i want right ther, i dont have to go to the homepage to do a search. it also has a pretty cool popup blocker. popups still come up every now and then but not as much as it used to. maybe i should reinstall and update my computer to the latest service pack.

I am using their toolbar only.. This toolbar having many good facility like creating shortcut for any site.. Its good..

If Isp is providing good s/w then people are using it.[/quote]

I just downloaded the 550access toolbar version 3.0. And its a really good toolbar. I like the fact that I dont have to use there ISP. I have heard good things about the www.550access.com dialup internet service, i have read a few good reviews at www.theispdirectory.com as well regarding them. But I am happy with my current isp so I am not switching, but I would still recommend other isp and even cable and dsl users to think about downloading the 550access toolbar and see what you think about it as well....

How many of you use the software provided by your ISP? You know how AOL provides their own browser and all. How many people have an internet service provider that gives software to their customers to use? How many of you are required to use the ISP software? Im just curious as to why the software is even provided.
