Keyword Definiation:-

"The word or words that relate to a particular topic. Keywords or phrases are used to construct a search statement to find information."

You can type anything in netscape browser and that will be your keywords. So, stop searching for keywords and type anything you want just paste it in your netscape browse and that is your netscape keyword.

To avoid delay of getting results, use key verb goto. Type goto gardening or goto nike for searching the results for this word. This causes navigator to bypass local NT network search and prevent the delay.

There is some delay when you use single-word Internet keywords on Single Win 95,958 & NT Computer or NT Network. At that time, you typed keyword searches on local NT network for servers with the given single word to the Internet Keyword System. The delay of this feature causes 5-20 sec delay.

Some possible solutions that involved in using of Internet Keywords are as under:
--- Some proxy servers don’t handle single word internet keywords, ex. If you type a single word such as gardening and are sent to server as http://gardening then you experiencing such problem.
Two possible solution for that – One is you can use goto in front of single word keywords. Ex. goto gardening. The other is turnoff your proxy server. Go to Edit menu, select preferences then select advanced. Select the subgroup labeled proxies and check “Direct connection to internet.” There is an advice before doing this, first note down your proxy server configuration settings that may be need in future.
--- If you get the Netscape Communicator browser from any search provider, you may not be able to access the Internet Keywords.

                                      hi,
The system works on mailny Interent Keywords.Using Internet keywords is much like requesting a page using its URL, instead of sending URL to DNS server. Your browser sends the real words that typed by you for Internet Keyword system.

                                      Hi,

I have it.When user typed some words for searching, it directly goes for a DNS Server for the specified results. At that time, Internet keyword system captures two pieces of Information. You’re IP address and the words.
It uses the simple browser identifiers that commonly used for personalized services without logging in. No personal or unique user identifiers are included in these cookies. They stores only the last tip no & date it was viewed. The information send by you to the system is not used for tracking records of your browsing habits. Netscape looks only at summaries of the used keywords ex. Most popular keywords to identify improve samr browsing.
