Good, Only thing I have to change that. In most of Motorola modems it’s online light which doesn’t go unless the send &amp; receive lights are on.

The switching off router &amp; modem that takes almost 30 sec. Then power up the modem &amp; give 45 sec to warm up &amp; after plug in the router to the modem. Now see how it goes. I have seen the problem after reconnecting the cable modem to devices while power is on.

Yes, it’s right. The cable modem is the second &amp; I think it is the only component that &amp; I using is 10/100.

Finally, I got the solution. The router configuration has a little bit confusion that dropped your speed up to 100 mbps to 10 mbps. Everything going smoothly with a capital SMOO. I had no idea to set this one or the other. The router manual doesn’t mention it. I found that by randomly seeing the configuration pages.

My computer assigned IP address dynamically. Could they fetch the MAC ID from NIC through my cable modem? Let me check it &amp; that it the problem or not.

I worked it sometime but it is good to verify that I’m connected or not. I did it on my SURFboard modem. One thing I told that it takes more time to do it.<br />

Call your ISP for assigning the IP address while communicating with your NIC Card. It might uses Static IP. You can reset your router to solve it.
