Just installed a new modem in my dads Computer over the phone and set up 3 separate pay as you go ISP’s (btopenworld, virgin and handbag)
You have no idea how difficult this was as he's a complete technophobe .

When his modem dials he gets engaged tones and redialing with all of them. Just a co-incidence? Or a problem with his line?

His telephone provider is someone called Axix telecom.

Anyone provide any insight.

First off, i want to know why you signed up for 3 different ISPs?

Is he getting any kind of error number? or is it simply dialing and then redialing.

Make sure the access number is setup correctly, there should not be a 1 infront of any of the access numbers.
