Answer) Hi Mel,
First check the username/password its casesensitive i.e uppercase/lowercase. And where your entering ther username, it might be with complete email address or with out email address, check it.
If possible you might have change the password, some ISP's take minimum of 24 hours to update the password on servers.

Best option is contact that ISP for the username and password.

I get an error message that displays me invalid username / password. When I am trying to connect with Internet, I gets a dialog box in which username & password asked. I entered my username & password thrice. But I can�t connect. At last it displays me this message.
What should I do?

As per your problem i think if you are entering your username and password correctly but keep getting returned to the login page with no error message, then you don't have cookies enabled in your web browser. Cookies must be enabled and accepted. Your password is stored in the cookie. Therefore each time you access a different page you don't have to retype the password. The cookies are not written to your hard drive nor are they used to track your movements.

Friends,

I am entering valid username and password but - why am I just returned back to the login page with the message � NO ERROR MESSAGE?

hi frank,

If an "invalid password" error message appears when trying to log in to the web site, the primary cause is that a) you really did type the password incorrectly, or b) you are typing your username incorrectly. Usernames must be typed in lowercase letters and cannot include any spaces. Your password, however, may include upper or lower case characters and is case sensitive.

Hope these things can get u through log in problem

Before this i had same problem. I got proper answer for invalid username/password. Enjoy your surf.
You get this error mainly because you enter different or wrong username. Other problem is your password if you don�t write it properly. Hey guys.. Don't get worry...

the most common reason for this error is wrong username or password. You should just call your isp.. get a technical support of you isp and tell them about your error.. they will ask you for your username and may be for some other details and give you your right password.. and you can also get a access number for your area from your isp..

sometime we change our password and forget it, so its better to take a tech. support of your isp and get out of the 691 error.. or any such error.. I have this experienced before ..

Curently I am using Netspace. When I try to connect I get an error message and number. This is very furstrating. Please reply me asap.

There are many reason of this error. Try clearing out your cookies is my best suggestion.
You also check your password and username. Also make sure that your password is casesensitive.
