im all about 550access right now -- i had such a hard time finding someone reliable and cheap -- i wasnt looking for a blazing fast internet connection or willing to pay an arm and a leg -- im a broke college student for crying out loud! -- but i came across 550 access after a friend of mine told me about them -- and i'm totaly in love with those guys -- they really do only charge you 5.50 a month! -- and if you do happen to run into some issues *usually never happens unless you kinda mess with the connection once some one on their end helps you set it up* -- they're always there to answer your call or help you via live chat or email -- another thing thats really good about them is that, THEY CALL YOU! -- hahah i forgot my password one time and i guess i kept putting in the wrong one -- a day later a dude called me and was like *uhh ma'am, you're trying to connect but you're getting your password wrong* - i was so impressed with that -- other isp's pretty much just let you sweat it out! however 550 ROCKS!
I agree but there is nothing free in this world. Even in the http://www.ispbargains.com/ all the companies charges.

Here we are talking about real cheap price almost like free but not free.

Anyway everything depends on services, quality and much more. Sometimes even if you get use to it no matter what, you will not change the services just like that.

I don't do any favor for 550access or whatever it is. My couple of friends are using and they are pretty much happy.

I don't know personally how good they are.

Thanks,
Yes, I agree. 550Access is a good choice and that's why it's featured here at The ISP Guide. However, 550Access is not a "Free ISP", which happens to be the topic of this forum thread.

Here's a direct link to the Free ISP list I previously mentioned:
http://www.ispbargains.com/free-isp.html
It's the most complete list of current free ISPs and also the longest list of dead free ISPs...
Sam,

There are other free dialup ISP options. Dial-up Internet access is certainly not dead yet... Dialup ISPs are a slow Internet connection - but it's FREE! You can use www.theispguide.com to find a cheap and reliable ISP or you can find a few other free Internet service providers on this free ISP list through this link: http://www.ispbargains.com

Naples.net is an excellent free ISP but only if you live in Naples, Florida. You must be a resident of Collier County.

Always contact your phone company before switching to a new dial-up ISP phone number. Make sure the number is a LOCAL call. You don't want to get a phone bill like the guy that was charged $400 during one month for dial-up Internet online time!
