I live in the country and do not have a landline phone or DSL service for several reasons although we do have basic cable (it is not fiber optic enhanced) and use cell phones. I don't want to sign up for DSL home service because that would defeat the whole point in getting a laptop to go wireless in the house.<br /> <br /> I know in order to go wifi from home or abroad I need a Express Card (from Dell for $199) or an ISP card thru a cellular or other carrier which would run about $100.
